A customer care plan (sometimes known as a “website maintenance plan”) is an essential component of any successful website. It ensures that your site is always up-to-date, secure, and functioning properly.

Without regular maintenance, any website is at risk of security vulnerabilities, broken links, and other issues that can negatively impact user experience. This can lead to decreased traffic and revenue for businesses that rely on their website for sales or lead generation.

We take weekly backups of your website, your media and your database. This is held off-site, securely in the cloud.

If anything goes wrong - or one of your team clicks the wrong button - we can restore your site in just a few clicks and get you back up and running quickly.


We update all of the vital elements of your website weekly - including WordPress builds, theme builds and plugins - to ensure that they remain safe and secure.

Developers are constantly updating their software to increase functionality and defend against vulnerabilities. If any of your plugins are left out-of-date they pose a security risk to your site and your customers.


If you need a blog post published, a limited-time offer to go live, or just regularly updated products or pages, email us and we'll get it done for you.

Included in each care plan is up to two hours of content updates per month for your website. Additional updates can be done by our team at our standard hourly rate.


We monitor your site's uptime to make sure the server is working as it's supposed to, and we monitor your site's security to ensure there are no breaches. We'll also monitor your contact forms for spam and make sure none of it gets through to you.


Over time, issues can develop even without user error. It's our job to make sure that your database and media library remain clean and optimised, and that broken links are removed.

We'll perform weekly malware and security scans to make sure that there have been no compromised plugins or themes, and that your website has not been attacked by a third-party.


It's time-consuming to stay on top of all of your subscription renewals. When the time comes, we will let you know about renewals for your domain name, web hosting and licenses for premium plugins.

While we're at it, we'll also do reviews of your WordPress setup - including those premium plugins - and your content, and make recommendations based on what we see.

The Fine Print: Some inclusions may not be applicable to all Customer Care Plans where the features are deemed unnecessary or have been declined. Domain Name Renewal is only included in cases where Web With Us has registered the domain name in the first instance. Hosting Renewal is only included in cases where Web With Us is actively hosting the website in question. Search Console Error Fix is only included in cases where Web With Us is able to gain access to the Google Search Console for the domain name in question. Domain Name, Hosting and License Renewals do not imply that Web With Us is liable for costs associated with these actions; the client is responsible for all costs associated with renewals, except in the case where premium plugins have been used in the initial build of a website at Web With Us’ sole discretion.

How much does a customer care plan cost?

Every website is different, and some websites require more maintenance than others. Multi-page websites will need more maintenance than single-page websites, for instance – and e-commerce sites will need more maintenance than sites without that functionality.

Customer care plans differ in price based on the size of your website and your maintenance needs, so all plan costs must be tailored individually. There may be some tasks that you choose to do yourself, which in turn reduces the cost of the care plan.
